Life becomes richer and more meaningful when we have a place to contribute, connect, and keep learning. We welcome volunteers of all ages.
570 Coulee is an intentional community gathering space and property for adults 55+ across the St. Croix Valley. Our spaces and programs are co-created side-by-side with people like you. Every neighbor brings a lifetime of experience, curiosity, and skills worth sharing.
Whether you have a few hours a month or want to host a weekly group or activity, there is a place for your hands, your story, and your heart here.
Your Schedule and Level of Involvement
We believe volunteering should enrich your life, not complicate it.
In our volunteer form, you can choose the rhythm that fits your routine best — mornings, afternoons, or evenings; specific days of the week; or an occasional, weekly, or monthly commitment.
You can also let us know how you prefer to be involved. You may simply attend and lend a helping hand, assist with program setup, or share your own trade, skill, expertise, or hobby with others.
There is no minimum requirement. We are grateful for whatever time and energy you choose to share.
Areas Where You Can Help
You don't need to be an expert to make a difference. We have flexible opportunities to match your rhythm and interests.
Social Activities
Help host coffee and other social gatherings, facilitate card and table games, book discussions, music, entertainment, and other opportunities for connection.
Creative Activities
Assist with the development of our workshop through woodworking, leatherwork, or small repairs; share a fiber arts skill such as sewing, knitting, or mending; or lead painting and upcycling projects.
Nature & Outdoors
Assist with stewardship of the land and property, gardening, planting, and horticulture—or help host birdwatching, campfires, and other nature-based activities.
Wellness & Learning
Support opportunities for learning through classes, guest speaking, and other topics that encourage aging with vitality.

Tell us you're interested
Complete our quick volunteer intake form with your contact information and the areas of 570 Coulee that interest you. It takes about 3–5 minutes. You may also complete a paper volunteer interest form at 570 Coulee.

Volunteer Committee review
Our Volunteer Committee reviews submissions and completes any essential background checks and safety releases needed to keep everyone protected.

Come meet us
We'll invite you to 570 Coulee for a relaxed tour and one-on-one conversation over coffee. Together, we'll explore where your talents and schedule fit with current opportunities.
